The mute sound of endless fall

The mute sound of endless fall

About

This work is made from hand painted elements, with some generative and digital touch. Animated gif has no sound and this piece is charged with the sound of a muteness.

Description

It all started with “Falling Into Infinity” painting series, born as a fork of “Post City” chapter (III), which eventually grew into a whole sub-series, that could be seen as transition between mentioned chapter and the “Falling apart” chapter (IV). To understand better the whole concept, here is the link to the original works: http://www.markozubak.com/post-city/

With the infinity falls concept, I’m trying to imagine a man from the perspective of another dimensions, a fall through these other dimensions and question the actual level of human development and the importance of the material things, when these other dimensions could be perceived by humans.

Anonymous regulator 201

Anonymous regulator 201

About

Realization of this piece was a hard mission and I have partnered with the best man in it's field, Mattia Cuttini. This is the first collborative papertoy on the blockchain with the future more valuable than the present. "Anonymous regulators" are second generation of "Anonymous Officials", which live on blockchain. In attempt to breath some evolution to the class of "Officials", their brains were replaced by neural networks and they devolved to linear categorization replicants. Their purpose is to to promote an internet environment that is worthy of institutional trust. Each Anonymous regulator 201 is equipped with special camera that feeds and trains a large scale deep state BigGAN. This is a game changing collector's token, because everyone is invited to feed the deep state BigGAN, simply by printing, cutting and constructing this very piece into a miniature anonymous regulator, but only twelve persons can really own it. Shadow is treat to Liberty, but the torch is still burning.

About

As title says, shadow is treat to Liberty, but the torch is still burning.

Description

MLIBTY Shadows represent people in general, but also shadows behind the curtains, invisible inhabitants you never meet, but you feel their presence. Sometimes they are just watching you, sometimes they smile, but you never know what are they thinking. Black and white, no hands and no legs, shadows with faces.

Bugbot VIII (Air guitar)

Description

Bugbot is one of Marko Zubak's childhood characters, first created in the mid-1990s. Ever since, he has been working on it in cycles, mostly as medium format paintings, but also did some Bugbot street murals in Croatia, Slovenia and Italy. After being forgotten for more than eight years, here it is back in life, in digital version. Bugbot is first of all a bug, it can be found unpredictably in artists artistic production, no matter the series or platform. This is the first Bugbot on KnownOrigin.

Lost & Found

Lost & Found

About

I was really surprised when in one antique shop, less than 200 km from the birthplace of Nikola Tesla, I found this lost footage of Abysms NY Streetcryptoart Tour, from the '70 of the last century.

Everything about Abysms is shrouded in mystery, but at least now we know he was already rocking it in the '70 and it was in NY. Mlibty Shadows were there as well, of course.

Description

It is not known who was behind the camera, but I doubt it was a professional, since the footage is a bit blurry. I wonder will we ever find out how this tour sounded?

Journey: Temples (I/V)

Journey: Temples (I/V)

Description

JOURNEY is an adventure WGMeets and MLIBTY took together under the ground of already taken paths, crawling through the caves of shady inhabitants and forgotten civilizations. The journey lasted for weeks, but the only things that we managed to bring to surface untouched, were five images.

Overwatch is the second image we managed to bring with us to the surface. When we took a close-up of the enormous temple, above the small town, this is what we saw. We were able to capture only these three seconds, which was plenty enough to be confused.

About

This is the third image from our Journey series. Here we find them curious as to why we’re there, they start doubting the mission and calling others to notice. We were unsure of how our team would surface from their village untouched, it took a while for them to warm up to us but we did it. We made them believe in us.

Abyssal Sucker

Abyssal Sucker

About

Abyssal sucker is a small sea creature found in the sea depths near island Rab (Croatia). Now extinct, it was believed to feed on blood from Sea worms. Their evolution is a mystery since they are related to Arthropods, Mammals, and Reptiles. Most scientists reject the possibility of the coexistence of these three classes in one organism and it's often claimed that such organisms never existed. Some independent researchers accuse scientific lobbies to cover up the extinction of certain species, sensitive to environmental changes.

This artwork was made for the Kaleidoscienza x KnownOrigin Biodiversity project, in 2020. It was one of 12 final artworks, but it was never tokenized under the Kaleidoscienza contract.
